Amritsar
is one of the world's most prestigious places, it is associated with the
history of Sikhism. It was established in the 16th century. Its name is derived
from the Amrit Sarovar (Pool of Amrit), in which the Golden Temple is the
holiest place of Sikh pilgrimage. That Guru Amardas bought land from Emperor
Akbar and decided to make a tank on the site. After his death, it was completed
by Guru Ramdas and it became known as Chak Ramdas or Guru's Chak. Some of the
oldest markets in Amritsar, especially the market of Guru, the date of his time
was made by Guru Arjun Dev, the Golden Temple, whereas Guru Hargovind, who
passed a martial shock, made Akal Takht in 1606.

GoldenTemple Amritsar - The Golden Temple is also known as Harmandir Sahib. It is a
major pilgrimage site of the country and here a large number of devotees come
here. This temple, located in Amritsar, was first built in the 16th century by
the 5th Sikh Guru, Guru Arjun Dev ji. In the beginning of the 19th century,
Maharaja Ranjit Singh covered the upper roof of this gurdwara with 400 kg gold
work, which named it Golden Temple.
Baghaborder - The Bagha border is a military checkpost, which is situated between
Amritsar and Lahore. This is the only road boundaries of Indo-Pak and there are
