Varanasi - Varanasi is
a city in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh dating to the 11th century
B.C. Regarded as the spiritual capital of India, the city draws Hindu pilgrims
who bathe in the Ganges River’s sacred waters and perform funeral rites. Along
the city's winding streets are some 2,000 temples, including Kashi Vishwanath,
the “Golden Temple,” dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.

Ghat - Dashashwamedh
Ghat is the main ghat in Varanasi on the Ganga River. It is located close to
Vishwanath Temple and is probably the most spectacular ghat. Two Hindu legends
are associated with it: According to one, Lord Brahma created it to welcome
Lord Shiva. According to another legend, Lord Brahma sacrificed ten horses
during Dasa-Ashwamedha yajna performed here
Manikarnika
Ghat –This Ghat is
one of the holiest among the sacred riverfronts, alongside the river Ganga. It
is believed that a dead human's soul finds salvation
Dhamek Stupa
- DhamekStupa is a massive stupa located at Sarnath, 13 km away from Varanasi in the
state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Stupas originated as pre-Buddhist tumuli, in
which ascetics were buried in a seated position, called chaitya.
