Jalore Fort- Considered as one of the most unconquerable
forts of the country, Jalore Fort has a famous saying about itself- “Let the
sky be torn, the earth turned upside down, let the iron armor be cut to pieces,
body fighting alone, but Jalore would not surrender”. Built in traditional
Hindu architecture style, the Jalore Fort is erected over a steep hill 1200
Meters high. Jalore fort was built so high that it was suitable to have a
panoramic view of the whole town. Hence, the whole city was commanded from over
there.

Jalore Fort
When Ala Ud Din Khilji attacked the Jalore Fort and many of the Rajput
soldiers attained Martyrdom, their wives burned themselves to death by jumping
into a pond of burning fire, so as to save their honours from opposing army.
This was a popular tradition of highest sacrifice amongst Rajput women and
known as “Jauhar”.The main attraction of the fort is the desolated (by Ala Ud
Din Khilji) Residential Palace here, which now is left with ruined symmetrical
walls with huge rock formations around it.From Hindu temples to Mosques to the
Jain temples, representing the holy places of different rulers of this place,
you will find all of them inside the Jalore Fort’s complex.
RANAKPUR TEMPLE- Ranakpur is a village located in Desuri tehsil
near Sadri town in the Pali district of Rajasthan in western India. It is
located between Jodhpur and Udaipur. It is 162 Km from Jodhpur and 91 km from
Udaipur, in a valley on the western side of the Aravalli Range. The Nearest
Railway Station to reach Ranakpur is Falna Railway station. Ranakpur is one
among the most famous places to visit in Pali, Rajasthan. Ranakpur is easily
accessed by road from Udaipur. Rajasthan is famous for its rich and prolific
art treasures. Some of its architectural monuments are considered among the

SURYA
TEMPLE- The exquisite medieval place of worship committed to the Sun God is
determined to the banks of Mavi River in the midst of the beautiful Aravali
ranges. The sanctuary based on a raised stage is an artful culmination of
design. Both the sanctum and corridor are polygonal, decorated with a running
band of sun based divinities, situated on chariots all around the outside
divider.The Surya Narayana sanctuary is a prevalent sanctuary of the area that
was built in the fifteenth century AD. The sanctuary has an overshadow the
sacred place. It seeks after a roundabout arrangement and has ious projections.
Its base has little projecting specialties and the sanctum is laid out on an
octagonal arrangement with six jutting yards. The sanctuary has numerous
friezes of Lord Surya, which incorporates one with his chariot that is drawn by
seven stallions.
